Prep the Fish: Rinse fillets, pat dry, and cut into serving-size pieces.
Make the Batter: In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add beaten egg, water, and calamansi juice. Stir until smooth.
Coat the Fish: Dip each fillet in the batter, ensuring an even coat.
Cook in Ninja CRISPi:
- Lightly spray the basket with oil.
- Place coated fillets in a single layer. Spray tops with oil for extra crispiness.
- Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
Serve: Pair with garlic rice, atchara (pickled papaya), or a simple dipping sauce like mayo-ketchup with calamansi.
