Dough Preparation

Combine all the dough ingredients in a bowl.

Knead for 10 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.

Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Filling Preparation

In a small pan, heat the milk until warm (do not boil).

Turn off the heat, then stir in the sugar until fully dissolved.
- Add the flour and egg to the milk mixture and stir until smooth and well combined.
Pie Assembly

Divide the rested dough into two equal parts.

Roll out the first half into a circle large enough to fit your pan, including the sides.

Place this dough in the pan and prick holes evenly across the surface using a fork.

Roll out the second half into another circle. Cut this into strips and set aside.

Pour the filling mixture into the lined pan.

Arrange apple slices evenly on top of the filling.

Sprinkle cinnamon powder over the apples if desired.

Cover the pie by weaving the dough strips over the top in an alternating pattern to create a decorative lattice design.
Baking

Preheat the Ninja Air Fryer Pro to 170°C.

Bake the pie for 20 minutes.
- Brush the top with egg wash halfway through baking for a golden finish.
Let the pie cool slightly before slicing.
