HOME-MADE LECHON SAUCE

Ingredients

  • 1 cup liver spread (or cooked chicken liver, blended smooth)
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup water or broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: breadcrumbs for thickening

Instructions

Sauté base: In a pan, lightly sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant.

Blend: Transfer the sautéed mix into the Ninja Foodi Power Mixer cup. Add liver spread, vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and water. Blend until smooth.

Simmer: Pour mixture back into the pan. Simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Adjust thickness with breadcrumbs if desired.

Season: Taste and adjust salt, pepper, or sweetness.

Serve: Pair with crispy lechon, roasted meats, or even grilled veggies.
