PINK GULAMAN SLUSH

A simplified comforting Filipino recipe for 2–4 servings, combining gulaman cubes, milk, and fruit juice into a refreshing slush using the Ninja SLUSHi.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack (25g) red gulaman powder (local brand like Mr. Gulaman)
  • 2 cups water (for gulaman preparation)
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup nata de coco (optional, for texture)
  • 1/2 cup cubed gulaman (prepared and chilled)
  • 2 cups cold water or fresh fruit juice (like strawberry or watermelon)

Instructions

Prepare Gulaman: Dissolve gulaman powder in 2 cups of water, add sugar, and cook until firm. Chill and cut into small cubes.

Mix base: In a bowl, combine evaporated milk, condensed milk, and cold water or fruit juice. Stir well.

Add gulaman: Fold in gulaman cubes and nata de coco for added texture.

Process in Ninja SLUSHi: Pour mixture into Ninja SLUSHi and churn until smooth, icy slush forms.

Serve: Pour into glasses, garnish with extra gulaman cubes, and enjoy immediately.
