This home-made low-calorie ice cream recipe is naturally dairy-free, under 50 calories per serving, and perfect for guilt-free indulgence.

Ingredients

  • 2 large bananas (frozen and chopped)
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
    Optional: 1–2 tbsp maple syrup or honey (for extra sweetness)

Instructions

Prepare the Base

  • Place the frozen banana chunks and cocoa powder into the best ice cream maker for home, Ninja CREAMi pint container.
  • If you want added sweetness, mix in maple syrup or honey.

Freeze

  • Level the mixture in the container.
  • Freeze for 24 hours to allow the CREAMi to process properly.

Process in Ninja CREAMi

  • After freezing, place the pint into the Ninja CREAMi machine.
  • Select the “Lite Ice Cream” function.
  • If the texture is too crumbly, use the “Re-spin” option until smooth and creamy.

Serve & Enjoy

  • Scoop into bowls and enjoy immediately.
