HOME-MADE TABLEA ICE CREAM

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk (or evaporated milk for richer flavor)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4–5 pieces tablea (Filipino cacao tablets)
  • ½ cup condensed milk (adjust for sweetness)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

Melt the Tablea: In a saucepan, combine tablea with milk over low heat. Stir until fully dissolved.

Mix Base: Add heavy cream, condensed milk, vanilla, and salt. Whisk until smooth.

Chill: Pour mixture into a Ninja CREAMi pint container. Refrigerate for 24 hours.

Process in Ninja CREAMi: Place the frozen pint in the Ni machine and run the Ice Cream function.

OPTIONAL re-spin: If the texture is crumbly, use the Re-spin function for creamier consistency.

Serve: Scoop into bowls and enjoy, or add toppings like nuts, caramel, or a drizzle of melted tablea.
