Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup ube halaya (purple yam jam)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

    Optional: a few drops of ube flavoring or extract for deeper color/flavor

Instructions

Mix Base: In a blender or bowl, combine milk, cream, ube halaya, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

Freeze: Pour mixture into the Ninja CREAMi pint container. Freeze upright for 24 hours.

Process: Place frozen pint into the Ninja CREAMi, select the Ice Cream function.

Customize: If the texture is crumbly, use the Re-spin option. For extra creaminess, add a splash of milk before re-spinning.

Serve: Scoop into bowls or cones. Garnish with toasted coconut or extra ube halaya if desired.
