Ingredients

  • 1½ cups canned pumpkin (plain, not pie filling)
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • ⅛ tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  • Mix the base in a bowl, whisk together all ingredients until smooth and sugar is dissolved.
  • Freeze the base.
  • Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container. Seal and freeze for 24 hours until solid.
  • Creamify it! Insert the frozen pint into the Ninja Creami machine.
  • Use the Ice Cream setting. If needed, press Re-Spin for a creamier texture.
  • Optional mix-ins After processing, use the Mix-In function to add crushed graham crackers, candied pecans, or a swirl of caramel.

For a more Pinoy flavor:

  • Use Nestlé All-Purpose Cream if heavy cream isn’t available, just chill it first.
  • Add a dash of nutmeg or pumpkin pie spice for a more Pinoy-holiday vibe.
  • Serve with otap biscuits or banana turon for a local twist.
