TOMATO SAUCE

PREP TIME: 1 HOUR

INGREDIENTS:

  • 35 oz of tomatoes
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 1 medium-sized onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 5-15 pieces of oregano leaves
  • 5-10 pieces of thyme
  • 5-10 pieces of fresh basil

INSTRUCTIONS:

  •  Preheat your oven to 390 degrees Fahrenheit.
  •  Slice tomatoes in half and place cut side down onto a baking sheet. Add bell pepper, onion, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme.
  • Bake for 30-45 minutes or until the tomatoes are tender and browned.
